Their highly anticipated February wedding is now pushed to December. What happened?
A high-profile celebrity wedding that was supposed to happen this month has been postponed indefinitely, with both parties citing "timing issues" that require immediate attention.
What Went Wrong?
The couple, who announced their engagement at a charity ball last year in front of 2,000 guests, had already sent out invitations for an elaborate ceremony at the Villa Rosa Kempinski. Wedding favors had been ordered, the dress designer had finalized fittings, and the honeymoon was booked for Maldives.
A statement released by their publicist reads: "After much reflection, the couple has decided to postpone their wedding to allow for more quality time together before taking this major step. They remain deeply committed to each other and to building a strong foundation for their future marriage."
One wedding guest told NAIPULSE: "There are rumors of a leak of private emails between them and wedding planners. Something about financial disagreements between families. But that's just speculation."
The couple has not publicly addressed these rumors. Both remain active on social media, with the bride-to-be recently posting loved-up couple photos with heart emojis. However, the groom has been notably absent from her posts for the past two weeks.
Wedding industry insiders estimate the postponement will cost the couple at least Ksh 25 million in non-refundable deposits and cancellation fees.
