An exclusive interview with one of Kenya's most inspirational figures reveals the untold journey.
In an exclusive sit-down at her newly renovated Westlands penthouse, one of Kenya's beloved television personalities opened up about the incredible journey that took her from a single-room apartment in Embakasi to a life of luxury that most can only dream of.
The Early Struggles
She recalls the days when she earned just Ksh 12,000 a month as a radio intern, living with three roommates and scraping together bus fare to get to work. "There were days I would skip lunch so I could save for transport. I knew something had to change," she revealed to NAIPULSE.
Her big break came when she was offered a prime-time slot at a major television station in 2016. Within three years, she had become a household name, commanding multi-million shilling endorsement deals from major brands across East Africa. Today, her net worth is estimated at over Ksh 500 million.
"Success is not luck. It's about showing up every single day, even when nobody is watching. I still remember my struggles, and it keeps me grounded," she said during the interview.
The presenter has since invested heavily in real estate, owning properties in Nairobi, Mombasa, and Kampala. She also runs a successful talent management agency that has launched the careers of over 40 young media personalities in the region.
