From a humble matatu to a garage full of supercars. The journey is incredible.
We got exclusive access to the jaw-dropping car collection of one of Kenya's most beloved comedians, and the numbers are staggering. The collection is valued at over Ksh 400 million.
From Zero to Hero
The collection, housed in a custom-built climate-controlled garage at his Runda home, includes a Lamborghini Urus, two Range Rovers (one black, one white), a Mercedes-AMG GT, a classic 1967 Ford Mustang, a Porsche 911 Turbo, and a Rolls Royce Wraith that cost Ksh 120 million.
"I grew up riding matatus in Eastlands," he told NAIPULSE in an exclusive interview. "My entire extended family would fit into one matatu. Every car in this garage represents a milestone in my journey. Not just financial success, but personal growth."
"The Mustang is my favorite because it's older than I am. Every time I drive it, I think about the journey. The Rolls Royce is nice, but the Mustang has a soul," he explained while polishing the hood of the 1960s classic.
The comedian's rise has been meteoric. Ten years ago, he was performing at free comedy shows in Nairobi clubs for Ksh 2,000 per gig. Today, he commands Ksh 5 million for a single corporate appearance. He's also invested heavily in real estate and has a production company that has created several hit television shows.
His success story has become a beacon for aspiring comedians across Kenya, proving that entertainment can be a legitimate path to substantial wealth.
